Funds are also used to serve children in protective services or under court ordered supervision. In addition, a portion of CCDF funds is also used to enhance child care quality and availability. Youth Activities and Youth Employment Programs
The Youth Activities Program is a free program, which provides the opportunity for the Native American Youth from Spokane and surrounding counties to participate in educational, cultural and prevention activities throughout the year. The Youth Employment Program is designed to give our youth the opportunity to learn on-the-job experience, teamwork, work ethics/habits, accountability and reliability. Our goal is to give youth the understanding of financial independence in the hopes it prevents them from relying on assistance-based programs in their future.
