SUMMARY:

Responsible for all clean-up in the kitchen area, and duties requested by supervisory personnel, in a efficient courteous manner displaying a high standard of customer services.  Responsible for minor repairs and maintenance of equipment in the Food and Beverage Department.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction and procedure manuals. Indian preference is always a consideration.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED and one to two years experience in a similar capacity position required.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required. 2 years maintenance experience preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, fractions, percentages, ratios, and multiplication tables.

The Employee regularly works around mechanical moving parts.

 

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

 OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

 

Must submit an application to the Spokane Tribal Gaming Commission which can be picked up from the Human Resources Department. You must purchase and be licensed prior to work in the casino. The cost of the license is $100.00 for a key employee. If the job requires you to drive while on company time you will be required to provide a driving record before hire and every year there after. Must be willing to work flexible hours and holidays. Must be out going and have a pleasant personality toward staff and customers. You must display the capability of being a Team Player which would include cooperating with co-workers, and Department Managers. You must have a good work history with no disciplinary actions taken during the orientation period to complete the position probation. All employees are required to submit to a pre-employment drug test prior to being hired, and are subject to random drug testing during employment.
